What this policy covers
This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who it is shared with and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers this website only. It does not cover information you give us by email, by phone or in person outside of this website, although we handle that information with the same care.

When you fill in the enquiry form on this website, we collect:
- Your name, so we know who we are replying to.
- Your company, so we can understand the context of the enquiry.
- Your email address, so we can reply.
- Your phone number, if you choose to give it. This field is optional.
- Your message, including any part or project details you choose to describe.
Please do not put confidential drawings, pricing or commercially sensitive specifications into the message box. If you need to share those, email us and we will agree how to exchange them.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs of requests made to this website. These typically include the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the page requested and the browser reported by your device. These logs exist to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to build a profile of you.
What we do not collect

- We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- We do not ask for or store payment details on this website.
- We do not collect any special or sensitive category of personal data through this website.
Why we use it and on what basis
We use the information from the enquiry form for one purpose: to read your enquiry, prepare a response or quotation, and follow up with you about it. We rely on your consent, given when you choose to submit the form, and on our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry.
We do not use your details to send marketing you did not ask for, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone.
Who your information reaches
Our form delivery service
The enquiry form is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, a third party form service. When you submit the form, the details you typed are sent to Web3Forms, which passes them on to us by email. This means your information is processed on servers we do not own or control.
Our email and hosting providers
Once your enquiry reaches us it sits in our business email account. This website is hosted by Hostinger, and their servers hold the server logs described above.
Google Fonts
This website loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches the font files, your IP address is visible to Google. This is the only third party content loaded on our pages.
Everyone else
We do not share your information with anyone else, except where we are required to by law, by a court, or by a government authority acting within its powers.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of the commercial discussion that followed. Enquiries that do not lead to any work are removed once they are no longer needed.
How we protect it
This website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type into the form is encrypted while it travels. Access to the inbox that receives enquiries is limited to the people at Eka who need it.
We want to be straightforward with you: no method of transmitting information over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. What we can say is that we take reasonable steps and we do not keep information we do not need.
Your rights
Under Indian data protection law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information about you we hold and what we have done with it.
- Correct anything that is wrong or incomplete.
- Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
- Withdraw the consent you gave when you submitted the form. Withdrawing consent does not undo anything we did before you withdrew it.
To make any of these requests, email omkar@ekamfg.com. We may ask you a question or two to confirm you are who you say you are, so that we do not hand someone else's details to the wrong person.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first at omkar@ekamfg.com so we have the chance to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority in India.
Children
This is a business to business website and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will remove them.
Links to other websites
If we link to another website, that site has its own privacy policy and we are not responsible for how it handles your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle information you have already sent us, we will make a reasonable effort to tell you.
